Wildlife sightings for 18th May 2025

Common Tern and Ringed Plover on main lake. Whitethroat and Yellow Wagtail also spotted.

The most recent Sand Martin ringing found that 95 nest chambers were occupied in the nesting bank.

Breeding bird survey 13/5 (singing birds) - Cetti's Warbler (17), Reed Warbler (62), Sedge Warbler (3), Chiffchaff (7), Blackcap (8), Reed Bunting (5), Song Thrush (3), Blackbird (10).
