Wildlife sightings for 19th August 2025
Snipe and Green Sandpipers on the scrape and marsh. Redstart on the south route. Bittern on reservoir lagoon.

3 Blackcap - south route, sheltered lagoon

1 Kingfisher - reedbed
Butterflies and dragonflies (mid-August) - Red Admiral, Brimstone, Small White, Green-veined White, Large White, Comma, Speckled Wood, Common Blue, Brown Argus, Small Heath, Meadow Brown, Blue-tailed Damselfly, Common Blue Damselfly, Small red-eyed Damselfly, Willow Emerald Damselfly, Common Darter, Ruddy Darter, Black-tailed Skimmer, Brown Hawker.
