Over 40 Swifts flying around and over the site. Red Kite over. 1 Little Ringed Plover on the main lake.

Breeding bird survey - singing birds (29/4): 75 Reed Warbler, 5 Sedge Warbler, 12 Blackcap, 5 Chiffchaff, 15 Cetti's Warbler, 5 Reed Bunting, 4 Song Thrush, 2 Whitethroat (south route and sheltered lagoon), 1 Lesser Whitethroat (entrance bank), 10 Dunnock, 9 Blackbird, 13 Greenfinch.
