Wildlife sightings for 25th April 2021
Bar-tailed Godwit showing well in world wetlands, 4 Greenshank on the marsh and main lake

2 Bar-tailed Godwit - grazing marsh, world wetlands (screamer pen)
2 Oystercatcher - main lake
4 Snipe - grazing marsh, wader scrape
3 Redshank - wader scrape
2 Yellow Wagtail - wader scrape
1 Common Whitethroat - South route
4 Swift - over world wetlands
1 Kingfisher - sheltered lagoon
1 Grey Wagtail - main courtyard
Reptiles: (mid-April survey) 4 Common Lizard, 2 Grass Snake, 13 Slow Worm.
Flowering plants: Cowslip, Cow Parsley, Primrose, Hawthorn, Blackthorn, Marsh Marigold, Lesser Celandine, Forget-me-not, Cuckoo-flower, Snake's-head Fritillary, Wood Anemone.
Water voles: feeding platforms noted along the south route, and one adult spotted in wildside.
