Wildlife sightings for 26th April 2021
Bar-tailed Godwit still in world wetlands with Common Sandpiper and Greenshank on the reserve.

3 Snipe - grazing marsh
5 Redshank - wader scrape, grazing marsh
2 Yellow Wagtail - wader scrape, main lake
1 Common Sandpiper - main lake
1 Common Tern - main lake
Reptiles: (mid-April survey) 4 Common Lizard, 2 Grass Snake, 13 Slow Worm.
Flowering plants: Cowslip, Cow Parsley, Primrose, Hawthorn, Blackthorn, Marsh Marigold, Lesser Celandine, Forget-me-not, Cuckoo-flower, Snake's-head Fritillary, Wood Anemone.
Water voles: feeding platforms noted along the south route, and one adult spotted in wildside.
