The most recent Sand Martin ringing found that 95 nest chambers were occupied in the nesting bank.

Breeding bird survey 18/5 (singing birds) - Cetti's Warbler (18), Reed Warbler (67), Sedge Warbler (3), Chiffchaff (7), Blackcap (10), Reed Bunting (6), Whitethroat (1).
