The most recent Sand Martin ringing found that 95 nest chambers were occupied in the nesting bank.

Butterflies and dragonflies (late-July) - Large Skipper, Essex Skipper, Small Skipper, Brown Hairstreak, Peacock, Red Admiral, Brimstone, Small White, Green-veined White, Large White, Marbled White, Comma, Speckled Wood, Holly Blue, Common Blue, Meadow Brown, Gatekeeper, Blue-tailed Damselfly, Common Blue Damselfly, Small red-eyed Damselfly, Willow Emerald Damselfly, Banded Demoiselle, Common Darter, Black-tailed Skimmer, Ruddy Darter, Norfolk Hawker, Emperor, Lesser Emperor, Southern Hawker, Southern Migrant Hawker, Brown Hawker.
