Female Whinchat on the grazing marsh keeping company with a small group of Yellow Wagtail.

Reptiles: (mid-April survey) 4 Common Lizard, 2 Grass Snake, 13 Slow Worm.
Flowering plants: Cowslip, Cow Parsley, Primrose, Blackthorn, Wild Plum, Marsh Marigold, Lesser Celandine, Forget-me-not, Cuckoo-flower, Snake's-head Fritillary, Wood Anemone, Dove's-foot Crane's-bill, Ragged Robin.
Water voles: feeding platforms noted along the south route, and one adult spotted in wildside.
