Wildlife Sightings for 9th October 2025
Snipe on wader scrape and two Kingfisher at wildside and wader scrape. Lots of Redwing heading southwest.
6 Snipe - wader scrape, plus 2 heading NE
1 Firecrest - calling on SE corner of sheltered lagoon
2 Kingfisher - wildside, wader scrape
15 Siskin - heading west
17 Meadow Pipit - heading SW/NW, plus one on the wader scrape
53 Redwing - heading southwest, plus 8 feeding in recently coppiced block at the sheltered lagoon
9 Chiffchaff - south route, wildside
Dragonflies (October) - Common Darter, Migrant Hawker.
