Wildlife Sightings for 25th October 2025

Two Bittern on site. Five Redpoll feeding with Dunnocks in wildside. Seven Chiffchaff seen on the wader scrape and south route.

A Black-tailed Godwit seen on the main lake amongst the Lapwings. Bittern seen from Dulverton hide.

24 October 2025

Glossy Ibis on marsh. Plenty of Wigeon and Shoveler across site.

23 October 2025

Bittern on the main lake. Red Kite over site.

22 October 2025

Yellow-legged Gull and Caspian Gull on the main lake.

Siskin and Redwing in wildside. Glossy Ibis still on the marsh and lots of Wigeon on wader scrape.

Redpoll feeding away around the sheltered lagoon. Firecrest on the summer route and Fieldfare over site.

A Red Kite, Swallow and Redwing over site, Redpoll and Blackcap spotted on the south route.

Glossy Ibis on east-side of marsh. Lots of migration action overhead plus birds feeding on the reserve

Strong overhead migration this morning (Brambling, Redpoll, Chaffinch etc). Bittern on main lake and Glossy Ibis on marsh
