Wildlife Sightings for 25th November 2025

Plenty of Redpolls and Redwing seen across site. A Little Grebe also seen on the wader scrape. Over one hundred Shoveler ducks across site!

Bittern on the main lake. A Snipe on the grazing marsh and Stonechat on wader scrape.

24 November 2025

Snipe and Meadow Pipit on wader scrape, as well as Redwing along south route and sheltered lagoon.

23 November 2025

Numerous Redpoll moving between the south route and sheltered lagoon. Snipe on the wader scrape.

22 November 2025

Glossy Ibis reported on the wader scrape. Two Bittern on site. Shelduck on the main lake and lots of Wigeon on the marsh and wader scrape.

A Bittern sighted on the north shore of the main lake. A Meadow Pipit spotted on the western edge of the marsh.

2 Meadow Pipit seen in the World Wetlands. Skylark and Redwing seen about the south route.

Bittern showing from Headley hide. Lots of Redwing around sheltered Lagoon, as well as a Snipe on the marsh.

Plenty of thrushes feeding on the hawthorn berries and sloes. Brambling migrating overhead.
