Wildlife Sightings 08/08/2026

Lots of wading birds on Wader Lake, including 8 lovely snipe feeding in the muddy margins. There’s several mixed tit flocks out and about, including flocks of Goldfinch, interspersed with foraging Black cap and Gold crest. A few notable butterfly species are fluttering around, including lovely Holly Blue butterflies, which have emerged over the last couple of weeks.
