Opening times

We're open 7 days a week, closing only on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. There's always something exciting to see and do at any time of year!

Summer
April – October - 10am to 5.30pm (last admission 4:30pm)

Winter
November – March - 10am to 4.30pm (last admission 3:30pm)

Christmas and bank holidays
Christmas Eve - 10am - 2pm
Closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day

We are open all other holiday periods including bank holidays.

Save 10%

Prices below are for tickets bought online in advance, and include a 10% saving. The 10% discount is available until midnight on the day before your visit. After this time, tickets can be purchased on the day at full price online or from our admissions team at the main entrance.

Accessibility

All our Wetland Centres exist to fulfil founder Peter Scott’s vision of connecting people with nature, so we make it a principle that our wetlands and wildlife are accessible to everyone.

Food and drink

Cuppa and a cake in the café? Or a souvenir from our well-stocked gift shop? When you spend with us you are helping create a world where healthy wetland nature thrives and enriches lives.

Waterside cafe is open from 10am daily, closing at 5pm (summer) and 4pm (winter). Hot food served until 3pm.

Dogs

Unfortunately we can't allow dogs or pets of any kind on site, with the exception of trained assistance dogs, as our wildlife may become distressed. Trained assistance dogs are welcome but must be kept on their lead and under control at all times.

Please ensure any dog waste is removed. If any of our birds/animals behaviour is affected by the presence of your dog, we respectfully ask that you understand that we may have to ask you to move away from the area. Assistance dogs cannot be taken into our walk-through exhibits at Close Encounters and Ganderland.

Please do not leave your dog in your car whilst visiting.
