Wildlife Sightings 10/03/2026
A lovely female Kestrel hunting over Spring Gill and Top Meadow ponds- listen out for the Kestrel calling on the East of Site as they are very active over there right now. Lots of birds are starting to sing across the site, so it’s a great opportunity to learn some new bird songs (there’s Reed Bunting singing at Round Table Ponds, Goldcrest singing at Wet Wood and Dunnock singing along Wader Lake Footpath). There’s also plenty of Oystercatcher activity across Wader Lake and the River and you can hear their boisterous calls regularly along Wader Lake footpath.
