Wildlife Sightings 11/10/2026

Kingfishers were seen flying around the gully opposite the river viewpoint and again at Window on The Wear, while a Cetti’s Warbler could be heard down Wader Lake footpath. Some Curlew could be seen on both the lake and the river and a lone Jack Snipe and some Mistle Thrush were spotted on the far bank of Wader Lake.
