Eurasian Jays have been spotted around the site collecting acorns from oak trees. Jays are usually shy and stay high in the trees, but at this time of year they often come down to the ground.
Look and listen for:
- A loud, harsh screeching call.
- A bright flash of electric blue feathers on their wings.
- A white patch on their rump (the area above the tail) when they fly away.
