Robins are increasingly seen and heard around the site as they start to sing to claim feeding territories for these later months. Similarly, Blackbirds are also emerging to eat the abundance of berries from our hedgerow species like Hawthorn, Elder, Guelder Rose, Dog Rose as well as the fallen fruit from the many apple trees in our orchards. Fungal species like Common Puffball and various Brittlegills are popping up and can be seen around our woodlands.
