Wildlife Sightings 28/05/2026

A very rare Black Tern briefly dropped in among the Common Tern colony on Wader Lake, where an impressive 63 birds are currently active. Among them is a distinctive first-summer Common Tern, a very unusual record for us as birds of this age typically remain in their non-breeding wintering grounds.
