Around the reserve, Sunday 25th October
A Kingfisher has been showing well, catching fish in front of the Back Pond Hide again today
The drake Green-winged Teal is still on the Folly Pond with over 200 Eurasian Teal. Tricky to spot, but if it is the same one as the past 2 winters (which we believe it to be) it should stay until spring.
The majority of Whooper Swans to have arrived so far are a little elusive, using the back corner of a large field at Upper Locharwoods, near Bankend
Today's high tide is at 10:08, 9.0m
