Cranes and a Fenland sunrise
Crane - 7, in the ploughes field next to Lady Fen and the next field across the road they are in 2 groups one of 4 and one of three, just like they were yesterday. They were very close to the road coming from Ten Mile Bank to the visitor centre just after 8am this morning.
Barn owl - 1, hunting around the visitor centre at 8am.
There was a beautiful sunrise this morning and the last groups of swans were flying out between 8-8.30am , so it is looking good for the early opening tomorrow, you can get in to the visitor centre and over on to the reserve from 7am!
