Water levels have peaked for now - Main hide, Nelson-Lyle and Lyle hides open to all, Friends hide open to walkers with wellies or stout walking boots to skirt around the water, Reedbed hide closed for now. Lady Fen trail fully open for walkers. All roads open, some diversions from the West, but direct access from Welney village, Littleport and Ten Mile Bank.

In late summer enjoy the last flurry of insect activity from dragonflies basking in the sun to butterflies dancing along the paths.

By early autumn our first winter arrivals make their presence known with whoops, whistles and whickers.
