Recent Sightings

Recent sightings from 18 June 2013 included:

  • Main Lake - Families of Shelduck and Tufted Duck
  • A little brood of Mallard have been spotted in the Plumbs
  • Wader Marsh - 3 Black Tailed Godwit, Common Tern and 2 Shelducks
  • Plants include Marsh Marigold, Cuckoo Flower and Cowlsip
  • Limestone Lake - 2 Little Grebes and 3 Tufted Ducks
  • Fresh Water Lagoon - 16 Tufted Ducks, 2 Gadwalls and 2 Mute Swans
  • Peninsula Salt Marsh - 300/400 Oystercatchers and 2 Shelducks
