Road Closure Notice

Recent sightings - 5th June

The following sightings were recorded today, near high tide.

Estuary

Lesser black-backed gull 9, Shelduck 2, Black-headed Gull 35.

Main lake - visible from Sensory garden and Visitor centre

Coot 2 adults + 2 chicks, Mallard 20 (among them 2 families with 1 and 2 chicks, respectively), Tufted duck 6, Black-headed gull +150, Cormorant 1, Greylag 1.

Wadermarsh - visible from Wadermarsh lookout and Brent Hide

Shelduck 2, Oystercatcher 60, Redshank 2, Black-tailed godwit 9, Lesser black-backed gull 1, Black-headed gull 65, Greylag 1, mallard 1o, Little egret 1:

Freshwater Lagoon - visible from Brent Hide and Crannog

Shelduck 2 adults & 7 ducklings, Coot 2 adults + 3 chicks, Gadwall 1, Mallard 5, Tufted duck 1,  Mute swan 1, Black-headed gull +400.

Saline Lagoon - visible from the Saline Lagoon lookout and Limekiln observatory

Black-headed gull 20.

Peninsula Marsh - Visible from the Peninsula Marsh lookout

Limestone Lake - Visible from the Limestone Pavillion and the Woodland lookout
