Todays Highlights

The water levels are still perfect with small islands of water which provide small areas for the waders to feed on. Also all of the hides are open (apart from Allport hide which is now for wildlife only).

300 swans could be seen at the 6:30pm swan feed last night. The swans are coming in to roost at 4:30pm so great to watch them flying in after the 3:30pm swan feed.

Total roosting on the whole of the Ouse washes:
Whooper swan - 7705
Bewick's swan - 1136
