Great white egret - 1 (Lady Fen)
Plenty of whooper swans coming in for the feeds each day now. The reserve is looking great with just a splash of winter flooding on the washes at the back of the reserve, still plenty of ground above water level. But this splash of water is brilliant for the increasing numbers of ducks and wading birds. It is brilliant watching them all erupt into the air each time the solitary silhouette if a marsh harrier glides down the reserve in search of prey.
