White stork and other highlights
All of the hides are open and the Welney Wash Road section of the A1101 is open.
The white stork began and ended its day on the pool of Lady Fen that is right next to the visitor centre, providing great views from the Wigeon café and veranda.
Lady Fen, the area in front of the centre is looking great lots of lapwing and golden plover. As well as sightings of short-eared owl and merlin.
The bird feeders are very active today lots of tree sparrows, goldfinches and reed buntings.
Fantastic swan feeds today lots of swans, ducks close tot he hide with wading birds on the islands and spits of land.
