Recently on deep water lake there have been 20 Cormorant seen, Shoveler, Tufted duck, Teal, Little grebe and up to 40 Lap wing. The Kingfisher is also still around, so be sure to keep very quiet when approaching the Sir Peter Scott Hide so not to startle them from the kingfisher posts in front of the hide! Waders have also been seen recently, both Redshank and Black-tailed godwit on deep water lake.

There have been Otter sightings again this week on deep water lake during Wednesday morning and lunchtime. Common frog has been spotted, and also there are Grass snakes out basking in the sunshine during the mornings so keep your eyes peeled!
