About me

I've always been fascinated by the natural world and the delicate balance that sustains its incredible diversity of life. That's why I'm so passionate about conservation - I'm deeply committed to protecting and restoring the precious wetland habitats that are so vital to communities around the globe.

It's this passion that led me to WWT, where I'm thrilled to be putting my skills and experience to work. Prior to joining WWT, I spent several years as an environmental educator, inspiring young people to appreciate the wonders of our planet.

My role

As the Project Coordinator, responsible for Sustainable Agriculture and Community Based Ecotourism (CBET) for the Anlung Pring Landscape, I have the privilege of leading the implementation of the CRDT grant to drive sustainable practices and promote CBET to local and international visitors in this wetland area. My role involves working closely with the local community to understand their needs and challenges, and then designing and delivering comprehensive training programs on sustainable farming techniques focus on regenerative agriculture practices and local ecotourism business activities plan.

From improving soil health and water conservation to diversifying crops, we are empowering farmers to adopt more environmentally-friendly methods that also enhance their livelihoods. It's incredibly rewarding to see the tangible impact of our efforts, as the landscape becomes more resilient and the community's connection to the wetland ecosystem is strengthened.

Alongside this project work, I also contribute to WWT's broader wetland conservation strategy, sharing knowledge and collaborating with other teams to ensure a holistic approach to protecting these critical habitats. It's a role that allows me to combine my passions for environmental sustainability and community development – and I'm proud to be a part of the WWT family.
