A wet day on the nest
Once again the weather is dominating the daily report from the osprey nest. We have seen both birds on the nest today but the horizontal rain this afternoon has meant that the nest has been more often empty than with a bird clinging to it. Even with the sides built up with sticks as a wind break the birds are obviously getting better shelter perched in the trees nearby. Hopefully a better osprey watching day tomorrow.
