New male at the nest
At 12 noon today we saw both the male and female on the nest at the same time. The male is not green AW, he has a white ring on his left leg which we can't read yet due to the poor weather and visibility. They both seemed happy side by side on the nest and this new male was kicking a nest scrape when the female flew off. We have also seen a mating attempt on the nest. Has she got fed up waiting for AW to come back and taken a new mate? Watch this space for the lowdown on the story as it unfolds.
