Explore our collection of the world’s most spectacular ducks, geese and swans – many so tame they feed from your hand. Look out for our colourful Caribbean flamingos preening, displaying or just hanging around on one leg.

Our mosaic of pools, lagoons, reed beds, marshes and meadows covering 450 acres also provide a haven for birds and wetland wildlife.

Accessible paths winding through the reed beds lead you to our comfortable hides, which give great views of water birds, dragonflies, water voles and little egrets.

Visit the British Steel hide for superb views of the marsh and estuary, and the Heron’s Wing and Sir Peter Scott hides are great for two different and stunning angles on the Millennium wetlands.
