Eat, drink, shop

When you shop with us, every penny you spend is helping us to create a world where healthy wetland nature thrives and enriches lives.

Kingfisher Kitchen

Open daily 10am - 4pm.

We’ve got a tasty range of refreshments in our café for you to enjoy and fuel your wetland adventure.

We serve freshly brewed coffees, and a delicious range of teas to suit every taste. We do have non-dairy milks available, so please ask when you order.

You can sit in and relax whilst looking over the ponds and wildlife, or we can make your drink to takeaway in one of our compostable cups. You can help the environment and save money on your order if you bring a refillable cup and save 20% on the menu price of your drink.

We also have light bites and lunches to satisfy, with gluten-free, veggie and vegan options available.

For a sweet treat, enjoy a slice of tempting cake or bara brith, or pick up some Welsh cakes to enjoy with your flask down in the hides!

Please talk to our team if you have any allergies or would like more information about our food.

Please note that on quiet days we may close the café earlier. Call the centre on 01554 741087 to check availability if you are planning to visit the café especially.

Shop

You can also pick up an ice cream, cold drink or traditional sweets from our gift shop as you browse our great selection of craft alcohol, gorgeous homewares, wildlife feed, toys, local souvenirs, books and more.

The best part is that every penny you spend goes to continuing our vital wetland conservation work.

Bring your own

family on picnic benches

Guests are very welcome to bring their own food and drink when they visit, and we have comfy indoor seating and tables available.

We also have plenty of picnic areas and seating around the reserve and collection areas, just please remember to put any rubbish in the bins provided and not to share your picnic with the wildlife.
