WWT Vice President David Lindo is celebrating his 20th anniversary as The Urban Birder. To mark this occasion, he will be leading a free bird walk at WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre on Saturday 25 July.
WWT Vice President David Lindo will be at WWT Llanelli on Saturday 25 July 2026 to lead a special guided walk to mark his 20th anniversary as The Urban Birder.
Join David for smiles, fascinating tales from concrete jungles and, of course, to learn more about birds!
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced birder, this guided walk with David offers a chance to learn directly from an expert in a friendly, inclusive and welcoming environment.

Cost: Free to attend, but spaces must be booked in advance.
David will also be signing and selling copies of his books after the walk, so keep an eye out in the Visitor Centre for his table.

WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre is one of the best places in Wales for birdwatching, offering diverse wetland habitats, seasonal wildlife spectacles, accessible walking routes and an on-site café and other facilities.
The walk is designed to be inclusive and suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities.
Members and non-members of all ages are welcome, but under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Places are limited to the first 20 applicants so please book your space in advance to avoid disappointment.
