Over the past 20 years, WWT has received over £10 million from the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) thanks to National Lottery players.
Donations like this as well as help from our members, supporters and volunteers, play a huge part in enabling us to continue our charity work to conserve, restore and create wetlands, save wetland wildlife, and inspire everyone to value the amazing things healthy wetlands achieve for people and nature.
To say thank you, between Monday 25 and Friday 29 November 2019 we are offering special 2 for 1 entry (off standard admission tickets) to London Wetland Centre and our other 8 wetland centres across the UK to anyone with a National Lottery ticket or scratchcard.
Winter is a brilliant time to visit the reserve, with wildlife just as abundant as in the summer months. Large numbers of beautiful ducks spend winter here, as well as migrant song birds and the elsuive Bittern. Look out for the subtle beauty of the Gadwall, the bright eye stripe of the Teal (Europe's smallest duck!) and the striking plumage of the Shoveler.
As well as wildlife to discover, there are loads of activities to enjoy everyday. Drop into a Spotlight talk, watch the otters being fed or help feed the farmyard ducks at Duck Tales. Go wild in our indoor and outdoor play areas and test your balance and bravery on our Wild Walk. Remember, your 2 for 1 entry ticket and every penny you spend in the shop and cafe helps support our conservation work.
Terms & Conditions:
- One National Lottery ticket provides 2 for 1 entry when you purchase an adult admission ticket at WWT Wetland Centres onsite, not online.
- All National Lottery games qualify for free entry, including tickets from any National Lottery draw based game or National Lottery Scratchcard. Proof of ticket can be paper or digital.
- One National Lottery ticket or proof of play per paying adult is required.
- The draw or purchase date on the ticket isn’t relevant.
- This offer is only valid between Monday 25 and Friday 29 November 2019. Please check centre opening times online.
- Offer valid on standard centre admission entry tickets only. This offer is not valid on special event tickets.
- This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
- Wetland Centres have the right to refuse entry in the unlikely event of reaching capacity, as well as unforeseen circumstances.
