Garden Warbler on the wader scrape bank and young Reed Buntings in the reedbed 9th June 2020
A great selection of breeding warblers on the reserve with Garden Warbler, Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Reed Warbler and Sedge Warbler all around. Also dozens of Black-tailed Skimmers among many other dragonfly and damselfy species.

From reed warblers to lapwings there are birds busy nesting and feeding young in all the different habitats on the SSSI at the end of May. Many more Dragonflies are on the wing, and the spring flowers are a blaze of colour everywhere you walk
