Dragonfly Crafts

Dragonfly Crafts invites families to enjoy a colourful hands on activity at the Dragonfly Festival, creating their own dragonflies using pipe cleaners, card wings, beads and other simple craft materials. It is a fun and creative way for children to connect with nature while celebrating the wetlands and wildlife of Washington Wetland Centre.

Join us for Dragonfly Crafts at the Dragonfly Festival, a fun hands on activity where families can design and decorate their own dragonflies using pipe cleaners, card wings, beads, tissue paper and more. This relaxed, colourful session is perfect for all ages and adds a burst of creativity to your day at the Washington Wetland Centre Dragonfly Festival.


Accessibility: Crafting tables are wheelchair accessible with both seated and standing options. Volunteers can support with cutting, sticking and assembling crafts.
