The reserve lift is out of service from Tuesday 14 April to Thursday 16 April for essential repairs. Access to the reserve is by stairs only. Lift access to the cafe will be unaffected.

Little ringed plover chicks

Today in front of the Main Observatory the little ringed plover chicks have hatched out and are feeding happily. The parents are very protective, chasing off all other waders and preforming faking a broken wing to distract predators.
