The reserve lift is out of service from Tuesday 14 April to Thursday 16 April for essential repairs. Access to the reserve is by stairs only. Lift access to the cafe will be unaffected.

Footpaths to Nelson-Lyle, Lyle and Friends hide are open from Thursday 13 March, giving further access on the reserve. More land is appearing each day to encourage black-tailed godwits, avocets, ruff and lapwing back, adding to the pochard, tufted ducks, whooper swans and wigeon.
