Pond dipping stations
With this spring being warmer than last year we are already seeing lots of activity at the pond dipping stations.  Over the last week we have had caddis-fly larvae (with their stick or stone cases), plenty of fish, large pond snails, water louse, water spider and damselfly larvae being caught.  If you have never been pond dipping before or you are unsure of what to do we have a guided pond dipping session tomorrow 1-2pm.  This is followed by owl pellet dissection 2.30-3.30pm!
