The avocet pair from Lady Fen have relocated to the main lagoon.  An early morning hike for the chicks including crossing the car park, the road, climbing the bank, swimming the Hundred Foot Drain, walking through a herd of cattle, crossing the footpaths and finally arriving on the main lagoon!  These chicks are made of stern stuff.

Avocet - 4 with the two younger chicks that made the epic journey this morning and at least one older chick almost with adult markings but in brown rather than black.
