Garganey by Rod gathercole

Garganey - 1 (Drake), from the Nelson-Lyle hide, the first of the summer
Kingfisher - 1 at the dragonfly ponds
Scaup - 3 - Friends hide

Lots of wigeon activity on Lady Fen, right next to the visitor centre, as well as lapwing and curlew.  Wigeon are grazing the banks along the Hundred Foot Drain and there are still whooper swans, pochard and tufted ducks out on the main lagoon.  Also, there is a roost of about 1000 gulls coming in to the washes out from Lyle hide each night.
