When checking swan ring numbers on the main lagoon this morning it was a pleasure to find a ringed pair who are regulars to welney. U5B, Baldur and his mate U5S were present with 5 cygnets and were moving between the grain put out in the morning feed and the potatoes at the edge of the lagoon. This pair have been quite reliable at turning up for the 3.30pm feeding in previous years, so keep an eye out for this family if you visit before the end of March.
