Today's sightings
Lapwing, golden plover and fieldfare flocks on the wetland area next to the visitor centre this morning. We have put some new potatoes out on the first pool so there is a small group of whoopers on this area as well - ring numbers out there this morning have included L6L - Toby Two, L6Z, U5A and E4L.
On the afternoon hare walk on Monday visitors were treated to a female peregrine chasing one of the brown hares which ended in both sitting on the ground a short distance from each other staring each other out.
