Access to Main Hide and Nelson-Lyle for everyone, including mobility scooters. Wellies needed to Lyle, not mobility scooters. Further hides to come as water levels continue to drop. Lady Fen trails are closed now until after breeding season, but great views from cafe veranda. All roads open and accessible.

Today's sightings and conditions

Water levels have increased since Monday but there is still a good variety of birds to be seen from the main hide and at swan feed times.  Today we have TV Wildlife Presenter, Mike Dilger, taking on the task of feeding the birds at the 3.30pm swan feed.  He will require a drysuit to do this and be right in the thick of things with swans and duckssurrounding our brave celebrity and the barrow of grain.

Yesterday there was a peregrine sat out on Lady Fen towards dusk and on the same areas of land next to the visitor centre we have now got the swans coming into roost at dusk too.  Thursdays - Sundays you can watch this wildlife spectacle as the light draws in before heading over to the reserve to watch the 6.30pm feed.
