Water voles very active

A couple of snippets of water vole activity from this afternoon.  There are two water voles very active on the visitor centre pond.  the best thing is that there isn't much vegetation at the moment so they are easy to spot and they don't mind the rain!

Today's Sightings

20 Dunlin, 5 Ringed Plovers  and 3 Wheatear were seen on Lady Fen, along with Redshank, Avocet, Lapwing and a few Lesser Black-backed Gulls on the fen pool. Drumming Snipe and displaying Lapwing also seen (and heard) around the reserve.
