Gull watching event
- Date: Tuesday 21 July and Tuesday 4 August
- Venue: Slimbridge Wetland Centre
Gulls with McGill. 7pm. £10.
Join our expert wardens as they go out on to the edge of the River Severn and study one of the biggest gull roosts in the UK. You can identify up to seven species of gull when you witness this amazing spectacle and learn how to identify birds in different plumages through the seasons. This is also a great time of year to see good numbers of scarce gulls like Mediterranean Gulls and Yellow-legged Gulls. We may also encounter some good numbers of migrant waders as well.
