Ugly Bug Parade Winners
The winners from the Ugly Bug Parade held at our In with the Insects Event on 22nd June. All of our entrants decided to make their own masks for the Parade during their time at the art & crafts activities. - 9 Jun

Nikon Photography Competition at WWT centres
WWT and Nikon are this year running the popular Photography competition again. All you need to do to enter is to get down to any of the WWT Wetland Centres and get snapping at the wildlife and scenery there is on offer. There are some gorgeous scenes to be taken advantage of at WWT Welney, as the Ouse Washes come out in bloom and the Breeding birds teach their young how to survive. - 3 Jun
A Fantastic Fen Tiger's Tale!

Black-tailed Godwits hatch at WWT Welney
Fantastic news from WWT Welney; a pair of Black-tailed Godwits have hatched out their chicks this week. With two further pairs hopefully hatching theirs soon we are looking at a much better breeding season this year than last year. - 20 May
Jemima Puddleduck Day.
Join us at Welney to celebrate Jemima Puddleduck's centenary, with lots of activities out on the reserve and in our pond room to make this a great day out for all the family. On the reserve you can veiw our birds from the hides and you might be lucky enough to see a duckling or two. - 7 May
World Migratory Bird Day
Visit us at Welney this weekend to support the World Migratory Bird Day and see if you can spot a few of our migratory birds out on the reserve. Maybe an avocet scraping a nest or a Cuckoo singing from the trees; there is plenty to see and do on the weekend. - 1 May
Wildlife caught on camera at WWT Welney!
Now visitors can get really close to the inhabitants of the reserve with the eco-watch cameras installed last month now up and running. These cameras will be ideal for watching the fortunes of some of our residents as they build their nests and hatch out young.
