WWT

Whether you've lost a loved one who had a special connection to WWT, or you want to preserve treasured memories of visiting one of our centres with someone precious to you, we can help.

Donations at a funeral

Planning a funeral is never easy. But we can help you make it simple for mourners to make a gift in memory, ensuring that your loved one's passion for wildlife lives on through our work.

If you would like us to send you donation envelopes or forms, just request them on our contact page.

It’s likely that your funeral director will be willing to collect donations for you. If your funeral director is collecting donations for you, please ask them to send them to the following address, providing the name of the deceased, and the address details of their next of kin:

Gifts in memory, WWT, Slimbridge, Gloucestershire, GL2 7BT

Cheques should be payable to the ‘Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust’.

If you would like the donations to support a particular WWT wetland centre, we’ll respect your wishes.

You can also create an online memorial page via JustGiving.

Tree of Life

If you are local to our Slimbridge Wetland Centre, you can celebrate the life of your loved one with a beautiful inscribed leaf hand on one of our Trees of Life. This wonderful place of quiet contemplation is surrounded by a tranquil Garden of Reflection, a perfect setting for you to visit and remember your loved one.

You can download the form here, or send us an email enquiry here.

At Arundel, Martin Mere and London, you may also enter a short description alongside an illustration of a British wetland animal or flower.

For our commemoration books we request a minimum donation in order to make an entry, as set out in the table below. You're most welcome to donate a greater amount, helping wetlands and nature thrive long into the future
