Welcome to the world little ones
There are many reasons to love the spring and summer time; sunshine, flowers, butterflies and of course, plenty of fluffy ducklings and gorgeous goslings!
Over the past three months, our Avic team have welcomed dozens of new arrivals into our newly renovated Duckery, including White Headed Ducklings (pictured above), Emperor Goslings, Ringed Teal, Barrow's Goldeneye and Buffleheads.
This week, we've been hosting our new Downy Duckling Tours, which have given lucky visitors the chance to go behind the scenes of our Duckery.
On Wednesday, our tour visitors had a once in a life time experience as they helped welcome a Wood Duck (pictured below) into the world.
This little duckling has already joined its siblings in our indoor Duckery and will be on show in the Duckery in a few weeks time, so look out on your next visit!
Don't forget, our newly renovated outdoor Duckery is open between 10am-4.30pm everyday throughout July and August.
