Robin chicks hatching

Robin chick

Awww look at it's....'HAIR'!!! This newly hatched chick is sporting an impressive head of 'hair', some might say it is a baby only a mother could love.  This was the first robin chick to have hatched in the nest, followed shortly by the rest of the clutch.  Our warden Louise took this clip whilst out nest recording.

Robins can have two to four broods depending on environmental conditions, so look out for pairs displaying and mating ready for the next clutch of eggs.
