Centre closure

We’re making some changes to how we operate, so we can make sure our wetland sites thrive in the future. To help us make time to prepare for these changes, the site will be closed temporarily, from Wednesday 12 November until Tuesday 18 November. You can find out what this means for you here.

Another scorcher. 12 Black-tailed Godwits on the Folly Pond, several Common Whitethroats singing with a pair quite prominent near the Avenue Tower, where sadly no sign today of both the earlier Lesser Whitethroat and Spotted Flycatcher. Several Blackcaps still singing as well as the one Garden Warbler.

Around the Meadow and in the avenues are scores of Azure Damselflies and good nos. of Four-spotted Chasers
